Through my professional experience thus far I have obtained over 850 hours of training and education through several different organizations such as Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and Thunderbird Partnership Foundation (TPF). I have obtained my certification for Opioid Use Dependence Treatment (OUDT) through CAMH and am a trained facilitator for the Cannabis Education for First Nations (CEFN) through TPF. I believe it is imperative to continue education and training to maintain current best standards of practice with relevant and current research/data. I am beyond grateful for the amazing mentors, supervisors, coworkers, along with Grandmother’s, Elders, and Traditional Healers and Knowledge Keepers who shared with me throughout Treaty 9.
