Many different conditions can be treated by an osteopathic manual practitioner. Pain in the low back, neck, spine and joints are common conditions addressed, as well as myofascial or soft tissue issues. Osteopathic manual practitioners can also treat headaches and problems with the jaw. The treatment does not focus on only one area, but uses manual techniques to balance all the body systems to be able to provide overall health and well-being.

Pilates is a system of exercises that promote strength, stability and flexibility, and develop the body through muscular efforts that stem from the core. Similar to yoga, it encourages deep conscious breath work that creates softness and space to facilitate proper alignment. This class is suitable for all ages and levels, and will focus on the essential principles and exercises of Pilates with a focus on both lengthening and strengthening the entire body. The class will incorporate music to fluidly transition from one exercise to the next, creating an awareness of the body, and with practice, will create movements that are both efficient and graceful.

Core and More is a low impact mat workout that combines strength training and mind body balance into one dynamic workout. This class is suitable for all ages and levels, and will combine the principles of Pilates, Yoga, and Ballet training to focus on strengthening our core powerhouse muscles, including the glutes, hips, abdominals, pelvic floor, and lower back. We will balance the class with layered movements that will also work to strengthen the major muscle of the arms and legs and ankles, as well as increase overall flexibility and range of motion.
